Pritchard Hill Region

This is the first vintage of this wine. Composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stagecoach vineyard on Pritchard Hill aged 20 months in 75% new French oak, the very deep purple-black colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill reveals exuberant crème de cassis, blueberry preserves and Black Forest cake scents with hints of eucalypt and star anise plus a waft of cedar chest. Full, rich and seductive, it fills the palate with powerful black fruit, framed by super ripe, grainy tannins and a long minted finish. 84 cases produced, to be released in October 2019.

Howell Mountain

One-hundred percent Cabernet Sauvignon from the Black Sears vineyard on Howell Mountain aged 20 months in 50% new French oak, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Black Sears Vineyard is deep garnet-purple colored and displays scents of cassis, chocolate-covered cherries, black plums and camphor with touches of tar, garrigue, cigar box and pencil lead. Medium to full-bodied, the palate offers fantastic freshness and a firm, grainy texture to support the youthful black fruit, finishing long with some mineral notes coming through. 121 cases produced to be released in October 2019.
